• This hike will bring you to the heart of Tenerife, Mount Teide
• A unique UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mount Teide stands at 3718m above sea level
• With this hike, you will get to see the sunrise from the top of the volcano, allowing for spectacular views
• You get to see the shadow of Mount Teide on the land below you
• The hike is adventurous and steep but will be rewarded with an unforgettable experience

• The hike starts at montaña blanca, at 2200 meters above sea level in the Teide National Park

• For this experience you should be in good health and motivated for a long hike
• Temperatures can be below zero and the amount of oxygen is lower
• Bring water (recommended 2,5 liters per person) and food
• Recommended to have some hiking experience and/or being athletic
• Not recommended for people with: Fear of heights, heart problems or high blood pressure

• You must book at least two weeks in advance to confirm your spot

• Sturdy hiking boots
• Warm clothing, it can be below zero at that height (jacket, gloves, cap)  
• Headlamp 
• Solar protection is recommended
